However the sports page on our website doesn't do as well as other sections. Not surprising since we post sports stories once a day. And - get this - since we don't publish on Saturdays, news about Friday night's games aren't posted until late Saturday. I'm hoping to get reporters to post updates (scores, highlights) from the games via SMS. But a bigger part will be to incorporate some of the ideas you've spelled out here. Especially creating relationships with coaches so that we can use their photos, have their staff post stats, etc. and allow us more in-depth coverage of the these teams. This post has inspired me.
