Reediting Web video is easy, fast

I did a quick reedit of the video I did early today based on some of Chris Amico’s suggestions.

It took at most 15 minutes, including encoding and uploading to Viddler. I think I personally prefer this second version, because it’s tighter, more immediate. I could polish it up a bit, because I did this reedit really fast, but it shows you how quickly you can take the same clips and do a different concept with them.

    Shorter is definitely more watchable. I think I’d still make a video of the eulogy into a separate video (meaning there would be two videos produced, with some content overlap), but for the encapsulated version, this works well. Impressed that you did the re-cut in 15 minutes. I think I spend that much time waiting for the beach ball of death to stop spinning.

    @Chris,
    I have a quad-core computer at work with 768 megs of VRAM. It tears threw video, and allows me to do some nice multitasking (like having Adobe Soundbooth open at the same time). An older machine would certainly struggle with a quick turnaround.

    I’m not sure if I’d call it an Eulogy. It was just some remarks from her. I’m going to see how the reaction is to this video, but I’m not averse to busting the content up into separate videos.
