As reporter who is beat blogging for the Dallas Morning News (http://dallasisdblog.dallasnews.com), I agree with everything in this post except for the sentence quoted above. The blog posting, the Twittering, the Facebooking (all of which I do) is a FULL days work in and of itself, for starters. Turning all that into something for the print edition requires still more reporting, vetting, verifying etc. of everything that came in via the network. It all still must be expertly sourced, and that&#039;s the rub.</description>
