Company loyalty and a gold watch after 30 years of service with the same company is gone. You are all you have and you can identify the facts, evaluate with them and make the best decision for you. Does the company you are committing to have this ambitious level in return for you? Take off the blinders, make changes to your skill set and adjust based on the facts you have in front of you today. Your dedication to ambition is admirable, you won't get it in return from a corporation so refocus the ambition. I don’t want to be pitching buckets of water in the Titanic.
