Richard and Greg,

Thanks for the kind words.

Eric Meyer and his books are the gateway to learning CSS and HTML really well. He is the CSS master. http://meyerweb.com/

One of his books on CSS is the one I give people at my work if they want to learn HTML and CSS: http://www.amazon.com/Site-Design-Hands-Training-Hands/dp/0321293916/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201995058&sr=8-2

Ditto regarding Richard's comment about adding to Google Reader. This is a great post--I just found it through another on your blog.

I have a blog, can capture and edit audio and video, know a little HTML and understand how CSS woks. The last two are the ones I definitely need to learn more about before I graduate. Thankfully, I have until in May 09.

I found these posts through the journalism.co.uk Facebook group.

They have provided some real food for thought.

I already know about blogging and HTML, and have used Sound Slides before, but will increase my awareness of Flash and CSS.

Your site is going in my Google Reader!

An excellent summary of what one needs to expand the repertoire. I will certainly be digesting the information on offer here.

Katleen,

No problem. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to let me know. I wouldn't mind an open dialog on this page about which parts of the program people find interesting, which parts people enjoy and which parts people find hard or don't enjoy.

It's all new to me.

Thank you for this summer reading list. I'm a print journalist anxious to add multimedia skills, and you offered me some good information that I hadn't found to date. I will continue to follow your blog. Keep up the good work!
